Overview
Within Kaltura MediaSpace, you can upload media, share media files, and use/download the Kaltura Capture desktop application. As an instructor, you may use MediaSpace to store presentations, lectures, and other materials. Check out how to upload your media file to Kaltura MediaSpace to learn more.
As an instructor, you have three options to add media from MediaSpace in to your D2L Brightspace course:
- Use the Existing Activities menu in Content to add as a new topic page.
- Use the Insert Stuff button within the HTML Editor to embed media alongside other content.
- Use the Insert Quicklink button within the HTML Editor to add a URL link alongside other content.
After you have embedded the media file within the HTML Editor, students enrolled in your course can view the media file, as long as they have access to the item within D2L Brightspace.
