W.W. Norton

Overview

The W.W. Norton integration allows for an instructor to create an external learning tool link directly to a W.W. Norton activity.

Instructions for Use

Insert a Link

1. Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
2. Click Existing Activities > External Learning Tool.
3. Click on Create New LTI Link.
4. Enter in the Title and URL of the W.W. Norton activity.
5. Click Create and Insert.

Grade Synchronization

To enable grade syncing:

1. Click on the content topic created above.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the Brightspace window, and click Add a grade item…
3. Select an existing grade from the Assessment menu, or create a new grade item by clicking New Grade Item.
4. After selecting or creating the grade item, click Save.

Grades will be sent back from the vendor platform to Brightspace upon student completion of the activity.
