Overview

The RedShelf integration allows for an instructor to insert a link directly to RedShelf course materials.

Instructions for Use

Insert a Link

  1. Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
  2. Click Existing Activities RedShelf.
  3. At this point, choose one of the following options:
    • Insert a generic link to the RedShelf ‘My Courses’, or
    • Insert a link directly to RedShelf Course Materials.
  4. Follow any further prompts.
  5. Upon selecting the appropriate option, a content topic link will be inserted into the Content tool.

 

Grade Synchronization

Grades are transferred between RedShelf and D2L Brightspace upon completion of an activity.

Support Resources

Problems with the platform or its integration should be directed to RedShelf Support.

The integration relies on communication and data transfer between RedShelf, the campus bookstore, and the campus Brightspace administrator.  If something is not working, please contact your local bookstore for help in troubleshooting.
