'Course Access' widget in D2L Brightspace

Summary

How do I use the “Course Access’ widget that is available on my D2L Brightspace course homepage?

Body

Summary

The Course Access widget allows instructors to visualize which students are (or are not) accessing the Brightspace course.  Showing data for the past 30 days, the widget shows each day a student accessed the course, via a colored rectangle. The course access information is pulled from the Class Progress tool.

If you do not have the ‘Course Access’ widget on your course homepage, please contact your campus D2L Brightspace support.

Appearance

By default the widget will display the students’ names sorted by their last name in alphabetical order A to Z.  There is no significance to the color of the row.
