Overview

Films on Demand Insert Stuff (ISF) allows for an instructor to search for Films on Demand and insert the video into the Brightspace HTML Editor. 

The Films on Demand Insert Stuff (ISF) integration relies on an LTI launch to authenticate the current user into Films on Demand.  The integration can be found within any HTML Editor by clicking on the Insert Stuff button.  

Instructions for Use

Embed a video

  1. Within an HTML editor, click on the Insert Stuff button.

  2. Click on Films on Demand in the left-hand column of the pop-up window.
  3. Enter a search term in the search box and press Enter.
  4. Click Embed next to the video you would like to use.
    Search Films on Demand.  After finding a video, select the 'Embed' button.
  5. Click Insert.  The video will now be embedded into the HTML editor.

Common Errors

Error: “An error occurred while processing this request. Please try again.”

This is due to third-party cookies being blocked in your browser settings.

Enable third-party cookies within your browser, or ensure that you have the appropriate domains and IP addresses whitelisted.  The Films on Demand Video streaming domains to whitelist article covers which domains are required.
