How do I setup and/or use the CompTIA LTI integration in D2L Brightspace?

Overview

The CompTIA integration allows for an instructor to connect a Brightspace course to a CompTIA course.  This connection allows for the creation of LTI deep links, pointing directly to CompTIA resources and activities. 

Instructions for Use

Insert a Link

  1. Within the Brightspace Content tool, click Existing Activities in a module. 
  2. Click CompTIA.
  3. Follow the prompts to choose the assignment or resource.
  4. Upon selection, External Learning Tool links will be created within the existing module.

Grade Synchronization

Upon completion of graded activities, grades will be sent back from the vendor platform to the Brightspace grade book.

Problems with the platform or its integration should be directed to CompTIA support.
