Respondus StudyMate

Overview

Respondus StudyMate allows for an instructor to add the StudyMate link as a Content Topic or HTML Editor quicklink in their D2L Brightspace course.  Upon clicking on the link, the instructor or student is automatically signed in to StudyMate and can create or access materials.

Instructions for Use

Insert a Link

1. Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
2. Click Existing Activities > External Learning Tools > StudyMate.
3. Click the newly created link to launch into the StudyMate platform.

Make the Project available within the D2L Brightspace course

1. Click the External Learning Tool link created above.
2. Find your StudyMate project.
3. Click the dropdown menu and click Make Available in Course.
   

When a student views clicks on the External Learning Tool link, they will now see the shared projects listed at the top of the page.

Reviewing student activity

1. Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
2. Click the External Learning Tool link created above.
3. Find your StudyMate project.
4. Click the drop-down menu and click Student Usage.
