How do I use the Yellowdig Engage integration within D2L Brightspace?

Overview

Yellowdig Engage allows for an instructor to add the Yellowdig Engage link as a Content Topic or HTML Editor quicklink in their D2L Brightspace course.  Upon clicking the link, the instructor or student is automatically signed in to Yellowdig.

During Fall 2023, this integration was updated to use the LTI 1.3 specification.  This article reflects the updated workflows.

Instructions for Use

Insert a Link

  1. Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
  2. Within a module, click Existing Activities > External Learning Tools.
  3. Click Yellowdig Engage.
  4. Click the newly created link to launch into the Yellowdig platform.
