Overview
The Honorlock integration makes use of a school-wide External Learning Tool (LTI) link shared to all courses.
Honorlock allows for an instructor to click on the Honorlock link to set up quiz proctoring. When taking a quiz with Honorlock enabled, students will require a browser extension to attempt the quiz.
Instructions for Use
The link to Honorlock can be found in one of two places depending on your school’s configuration: a navbar link or as an External Learning Tool link.
Navbar Link
Within your Brightspace course, click Honorlock link, such as from a drop-down menu.
Add a Link
- Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
- Click Existing Activities > External Learning Tools.
- Click Honorlock.
- Hide the Honorlock content topic from learners: click the context menu > Hide from Users.
Configure the Quiz Settings
- Click on the Honorlock navbar link or content topic, as noted above.
- You may be prompted to authorize Honorlock. Click Continue to allow Honorlock access to your Brightspace account.
- A list of quizzes within your Brightspace course will be displayed. Click Enable next to the quiz where Honorlock will be used.
- Configure the settings for the quiz. Then, click Enable.
