How do I use the QwikLabs (GG4L) LTI integration within my D2L Brightspace course?

Overview

QwikLabs (GG4L) makes use of LTI links to provide access to Google IT Certification courses offered on QwikLabs through Global Grid For Learning (GG4L). 

QwikLabs (GG4L) allows for an instructor to launch the Remote Plugin Quicklink and select the QwikLabs IT Certificate course.  Upon doing so, an External Learning Tool is created as a content topic.  When the External Learning Tool link is clicked, the instructor or student will be authenticated into the QwikLabs course via Single Sign-On (SSO).

Instructions for Use

Insert a Link

  1. Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
  2. Click Existing Activities > QwkiLabs.
  3. Click the appropriate course/certificate program.
  4. Click Submit.

  5. Click the context menu of the newly created content topic.
  6. Click Edit Properties In-place.

  7. Select the checkbox for Open as External Resource.

  8. Refresh the page and click on the content topic.
