Overview
Picmonic allows for an instructor to provide access to Picmonic study aids within their D2L Brightspace course. A research-proven visual learning system filled with mnemonic pictures featuring memorable characters, unforgettable stories, interactive videos and built-in quizzing for students entering the nursing or medical profession. Picmonic can be accessed through a deep-link workflow, where the instructor launches Picmonic to insert a direct link to a specific Picmonic activity.
Instructions for Use
Insert a Link
- Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
- Within a module, click Existing Activities > Picmonic.
- Search or browse to assign a playlist or lesson. Click assign and choose what to embed.
- Grades will come back automatically.
- Note: students using Picmonic for the first time will be asked to set a password and create a Picmonic account.
Grade Synchronization
Grades will be sent back from the vendor platform automatically to the Brightspace grade book when using the instructions described above.
