Accessibility+ Dashboard – Course Overview
The Accessibility+ Dashboard provides LMS administrators with a centralized view of digital course content accessibility. The Courses and Assets tab displays key performance metrics, visual summaries, and detailed data to support effective tracking and continuous improvement of accessibility compliance.
Who Is This Guide For?
This document is intended for LMS administrators. It helps these users understand how to interpret the data presented in the Courses and Assets tab of the Accessibility+ Dashboard. The information reflects the summary of all courses synced into the platform and supports analysis of accessibility performance and remediation progress.
How to Access the Course Level Dashboard
As you login, you will see Accessibility KPIs. These KPIs help you understand the overall accessibility status of all scanned courses. We expand on these in our Institution-level dashboard overview.
At the bottom of the dashboard, you will find the Courses Overview section, which presents a detailed list of all courses that have been audited for accessibility. As shown in the screenshot, each course entry includes key details such as Course Name, Identifier, Course Code, Department Name, Semester, Compliance Status, and the Last Synced time from the D2L. This table offers a centralized view for monitoring course-level accessibility status and audit history, supporting informed decision-making and targeted remediation planning.

By clicking on a Course Name, users can navigate to the course-level dashboard and reports for deeper insights into accessibility compliance.

The Individual Course Accessibility page offers a comprehensive course-level summary that enables users to monitor accessibility across various asset types. It presents key insights such as asset level, remediation status, Course Accessibility Score, and categorized asset-level issue details organized under dedicated tabs (e.g., HTML, Images, PDF, etc.). This structured view supports administrators in efficiently assessing and managing the accessibility compliance of each course, ensuring targeted and effective remediation efforts.

- Asset Type: The Asset Type pie chart breaks down the course assets by asset category, providing a visual summary of accessibility issue counts across different asset types. This breakdown helps users understand the composition of asset types present in the course, allowing for more targeted remediation strategies.

- Remediation: The Remediation pie chart provides a visual breakdown of all audited assets based on their remediation status. It categorizes the asset status into three categories: Remediated, Unremediated, and Yet to Audit. This chart offers a quick, at-a-glance summary of the progress made toward resolving accessibility issues across all assets.

- Course Accessibility Score: The Course Accessibility Score section visually presents two key metrics:
- Accessibility score for the course
- Categorization of accessibility issues into Critical, Mild, and Ideal
The score reflects how well the course content aligns with institutional accessibility standards and established frameworks such as WCAG (A, AA, and AAA). It serves as a high-level indicator to help administrators identify compliance gaps and prioritize content for remediation.
The issue categorization in the doughnut chart offers actionable insights by highlighting the severity of issues. This metric supports continuous accessibility improvement and serves as a benchmark for evaluating digital content compliance at the course level.

- Accessibility+ enables users to identify and evaluate accessibility issues at the individual asset level across various content types such as documents, HTML, videos, audio, and more. Each asset is categorized by type and listed with Title, Compliance Status, Source, Last Modified Date, Version, Course Page, Last Synced, and comments, if any.

This detailed breakdown helps administrators quickly locate problematic content, understand the nature of issues, and take targeted action for remediation. By surfacing specific accessibility concerns within each asset, the platform supports efficient and focused accessibility improvements.
