Difference between a quiz start date, due date, and an end date

  • Start Date – A student cannot enter the quiz before the quiz start date.
  • End Date – A student can enter the quiz any time before the quiz end date. A student can continue their quiz attempt after the quiz end date as long as they have time left in their attempt.
  • Due Date – A student can enter the quiz any time before the quiz due date. An attempt is flagged as late (to both the instructor and the student) when the student has not submitted it before the due date
Two attempts with the second attempt listed with the tagging: "Submitted late: 1 hour past the due date"
