Overview

When a course has the Activity Feed widget on the homepage, it provides the "Post to Course Homepage" option for a topic in Content.

Important: The topic's "post" option is only available to you as the instructor. It is not available to your students. 

"Post to Course Homepage" from Content

  1. Select Content in the course navigation bar.
  2. Expand a module (unit).
  3. From the topic's options (3-dot) menu, select Post to Course Homepage 
  4. Enter comments in message field and select Post
  5. Navigate to the course homepage. 
  6. In the Activity Feed widget, the newly created post has the content topic as an attachment. 

Notes:

  • After the topic has been posted to the Activity Feed widget from Content, the Post to Course Homepage option is no longer available from that topic's options (3-dot) menu in Content.
  • To post again about that topic, navigate to the Activity Feed widget on the course homepage to create a post, add an attachment, select existing activity, and select the content topic.
