Submit a student's in-progress Quiz attempt in D2L Brightspace

Summary

How can I submit a quiz attempt if a student was unable to complete the submission?

Body

Overview

If a student leaves a quiz without submitting their quiz, the quiz displays with an “in progress” status on the Grade Quiz page.  By default, in-progress quiz attempts do not display in the quiz attempts list.  However, you can update the search results to display in-progress quiz attempts.  As an instructor, you can submit a student’s in-progress quiz attempt on their behalf.

Submit a student's in-progress quiz attempt

  1. Navigate to the Quizzes tool.
  2. From the quiz’s menu, select Grade in the menu.
  3. Select Users with attempts in progress from the ‘Restrict to’ drop-down menu.
  4. Click the Search icon.
