Using ReadSpeaker TextAid in D2L Brightspace

Using TextAid

Clicking on the ReadSpeaker TextAid link within D2L Brightspace Content will launch the TextAid application. 

To make use of the 'Web Reading' feature, do the following:

1. Click on the menu in the lower left of the window.
2. Click on Web Reading.
   
3. Click on Computer or Mobile.
4. Select the browser.
5. Click on the link to the add the extension to your browser.
6. Click on Add extension.
7. Add the TextAid Web Reader to your browser's bookmarks bar.
8. Within D2L Brightspace, navigate to any page. 
9. Click the TextAid Web Reader bookmark to launch the player.
   
10. Highlight text on the page.
11. Click the play button to hear the text read aloud.
