LinkedIn Learning for System Office

Summary

LinkedIn Learning is a library of educational videos and content, helpful for learning new skills or refreshing current skills.  System office employees have access to the LinkedIn Learning online library of business, software, technology and creative skills training videos.​ 

Your institution may have a license for students or employees to view these videos.  If so, follow the steps below to access LinkedIn Learning.

Getting Logged In

There are a few methods for logging in to LinkedIn Learning:

If one method doesn’t work, feel free to try another.

Navigate directly to LinkedIn Learning

  1. Navigate to Linkedin.com/learning (https://www.linkedin.com/learning)
  2. Click Sign in in the upper rightLinkedIn Learning 'Sign In' button
  3. Enter your institution email address
    1. Campus staff/students should use their specific institution email.
    2. System office staff should use ‘…@minnstate.edu’ email address

  4. Click Continue.
  5. Click Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (Azure AD SAML)Choose an account options
  6. Enter your Office365 username (StarID@minnstate.edu or StarID@go.minnstate.edu).
    Note: This step and the following steps may be skipped if you are already logged in to Office365.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Enter your StarID password.
  9. Click Sign in

 

Logging in through Microsoft 365

  1. Navigate to your Office365 portal (https://www.office.com).
  2. Click on the waffle menu in the upper left.
  3. Click All Apps.The All apps link
  4. Scroll down until you see LinkedIn Learning. Click it.
    Note: It may be prefaced by an institution abbreviation such as “WSU-, MNSU-, or SO-“The institution link for LinkedIn Learning
