- Select Add Existing > SCORM/xAPI Object.
- Select the button next to one of your previous SCORM uploads.

Helpful Tip: If you keep Always display the latest update selected, you can later upload a new version of the SCORM package and have any previously linked topic updated automatically.

- Select Add.
- The SCORM activity is added as a new content topic. You may adjust the topic's properties as needed.
Adjust the SCORM object's grade item properties
When using a SCORM activity in your course, a grade value can be recorded for the activity. Often, these activities will create a grade item automatically. However, the created grade item won't be in a grade book category, and may have a different point value than you would like. If the activity will be recording grade scores and you'd like to adjust the grade item ahead of time, follow these steps.
Adjust the points and category for the SCORM object's grade item
- Navigate to the Content tool.
- In the left navigation panel, expand the module/unit containing the SCORM activity topic.
- Select the SCORM activity topic's title.
- From the three-dot options menu, select Edit.
- From the Grade Out Of field, enter the total points the item is worth.
-
From the In Grade Book menu, select Edit or Link to Existing.

- Select Link to an existing grade item to find the grade item it is linked to. Make note of this name. Select OK.
- When finished, select Save and Close.
- Navigate to the Grades tool.
- Select the Manage Grades link on the grades page.
- Find the grade item the SCORM content topic is linked to. (Refer to step 7 above.)
- Select Edit from the grade item's menu.
- On the Properties tab, select from the category menu to place the grade item within a category (if applicable). Select Save and Close.
Once a student has completed the activity, the grade for that student will be placed into the selected grade item.
