How do I review announcements for my D2L Brightspace class?

Course Announcements

Your instructor may post announcements on the course home page to provide you with new or updated information about the class.  The course home page is the first page we see when we access an online course.  From the course homepage, you can view the announcements from the Announcements widget. 

Review a course announcement

  1. When logged into D2L Brightspace, navigate to your class.
  2. From your course homepage, the Announcements widget appears on this page.

  3. The Announcements widget displays the most recent announcements.
  4. To access past announcements, click the Announcements drop-down menu, and select Go to Announcements tool.
