How can I copy a course into my D2L Brightspace course?

Import/Export/Copy Components

Copy or import in your learning materials in Import/Export/Copy Components.  You can use the Import/Export/Copy Components tool to copy from one of your courses or import from a course package so that you can easily reuse course materials and learning activities.  The Import/Export/Copy Components tool is available in your course navigation bar, found under Course Admin.

To copy from another one of your courses

To copy course materials and learning activities from one of your courses at the same institution, you can use Copy Components

  1. Navigate to Course Admin, then click the Import/Export/Copy Components link.
  2. Under Copy Components from another Org Unit, click Search for org unit.

  3. Search for a course to copy from and add it.

To import a course package into your course

To import a course from a different institution or a publisher, you can use Import Components.

  1. Navigate to Course Admin, then click the Import/Export/Copy Components link.
  2. Select the Import Components button.
  3. Click Start.

  4. Click Upload.

  5. Select the zipped file you want to upload.
  6. Click Import All Components.
    Note: Once it’s finished importing, click View Content to navigate to the course Content tool.
