Quizzes

May need to complete an attempt at a quiz without switching browsers or devices

With the January 2026 release, your instructor may restrict a quiz so you can only take and complete the quiz from the same browser session. If enabled, a session restricted note is available on the summary page before starting the quiz. While your attempt is in progress for this quiz and if you access the same quiz from another browser or device, the summary page states the quiz is session restricted and the continue quiz button is not available to re-enter the quiz. Please contact your instructor if you encounter a message stating "This attempt is in progress and restricted to a single login session. Please contact your instructor for assistance."

Before starting an attempt at the quiz as a student, the page lists that it is restricted to a single login session.
