New rubric icon to find which activity has an attached rubric
With the June 2026 release, when an instructor has attached a rubric to an activity (assignment folder, topic, or written response question in a quiz), a rubric icon appears beside the activity on the Assignments, Discussions, and Quizzes main pages. From the quiz's edit screen, written response questions display a rubric icon when a rubric is attached to the question.
Note: A WR question in a question pool does not have a rubric icon next to the question, but the overall quiz does have the rubric icon.
The rubric icon is informational only and does not link to the rubric, which is consistent with other information icons (such as release conditions and anonymous marking). This improvement is to quickly confirm that a rubric has been attached to the assignment, discussion, or written response question within the quiz.
