CE/CT login for D2L Brightspace

How to log into the CE/CT D2L Brightspace site

Navigate to the Minnesota State CECT D2L Brightspace site to access and view your Continuing Education and Customized Training (CE/CT) courses. To log into the CECT D2L Brightspace site, you will use either (1) your StarID login information, or (2) your email address and site password.

Sign on with StarID login information

1. Navigate to Minnesota State CECT D2L Brightspace site.
2. Select Sign on with StarID.
3. Do one of the following: 
   • Students: enter your StarID@go.minnstate.edu and your StarID password. 
   • Employees: enter your StarID@minnstate.edu and your StarID password. 
4. Select Sign in.

Sign on with your email address, and you know your password for the site

Your account username is your email address and your have a site password:

1. Navigate to the Minnesota State CECT D2L Brightspace site.
2. Select Non-StarID Login.
   
3. Enter the email address associated with your username and your site password.
4. Select Log in.

Sign on with your email address, but you don’t know your password for the site

1. Navigate to the Minnesota State CECT D2L Brightspace site.
2. Select the Reset your D2L password link (under the sign in options). 
   
3. Enter your username in the Username field and select Submit.

How to access your classes

You can navigate to your classes from two areas in D2L Brightspace:

• From the My Courses widget (on the page after logging in), select the class image.
  
• From the Select a Course menu in the minibar, your classes display alphabetically by the class name. Select the Select a Course icon, and then select the class name. 
  

CE/CT Student Questions

What is my email address in my CE/CT D2L account?

When you register for a course in rSchoolToday and the course requires D2L, we will receive the email address that is in rSchoolToday account. You will receive account email and reset password emails to the email address that is listed in your rSchoolToday account.

If I register at more than one college, will I have more than one CE/CT D2L account?

You will only have one account at the Minnesota State CE/CT site as long as you are using one rSchoolToday account. In this case, you will be enrolled in the college courses in the same Minnesota State CE/CT D2L account.

• For rSchoolToday registration, payment, or other questions? Please contact the rSchoolToday Admin at the school.

CE/CT Instructor questions

If I teach at more than one college, will I have more than one CE/CT D2L account?

You will only have one account at the Minnesota State CE/CT site as long as you are using one rSchoolToday account. In this case, you will be enrolled in the college courses in the same Minnesota State CE/CT D2L account.
