How to create an Emergency Change Request and how to link a critical incident (add a child)

This will show you how to create an Emergency Change Request in Team Dynamix. It is expected that you have attended the Change Management overview training Barb held on 4/26/2021.  If you haven’t attended that training, you can find the recording and the PowerPoint on TEAMS.  Here is a link the recorded session as well.

  1. Within the IT Tickets tab, click +New and select Change – Emergency.

  1. Fill out the ECR as per normal.
  2. Notice the new part of the form titled, “Associated Critical Incident”.  This is unlike Cherwell where you can look up the tickets.  In TDX you must manually enter in the Critical Incident number.

  1. Continue filling out the rest of the CR form and SAVE.
  2. Once the CR has been saved, you can ‘link’ or add a child (the critical incident) to this CR. Open your CR ticket to view, and click “Children”.

  1. Within the Children menu, click “Add Existing” to add a critical incident that has already been created.  (Click “Add New” if you need to create one now)

  1. The “Add Children” window opens and place a check mark in the box of the associated critical incident” you wish to associate.

  1. Click Add Selected

  1. You can see now that the child has been associated to this CR
