VitalSource LTI

Overview

The VitalSource LTI integration relies upon an External Learning Tool (LTI) link. VitalSource LTI allows for an instructor to pair textbooks with their Brightspace course. Students will access the textbook on their VitalSource bookshelf after clicking the LTI link.

Instructions for Use

1. Within the D2L Brightspace course, navigate to the Content tool.
2. Within a content module, click Existing Activities > External Learning Tools.
3. Click VitalSource.
4. Search for the textbook, and choose the appropriate items.

Insert a Deeplink to a VitalSource resource

Note: This option may not be available within your Brightspace site.

1. Within the D2L Brightspace course, navigate to the Content tool.
2. Within a content module, click Existing Activities > VitalSource.
3. Follow the instructions in the dialog window to select a book, page, or other resource.
