Overview
Barnes & Noble College allows for an instructor to add a link to the Barnes and Noble textbook from their D2L Brightspace course Content.
The Barnes & Noble College First Day integration relies on a school-wide External Learning Tool link. This integration allows the student to have access to a textbook on the first day of class. This model makes use of a course/program fee to provide course material access. The instructor may need to work with the campus bookstore to use this method.
Instructions for Use
Insert a Link
- Navigate to the Content tool within your D2L Brightspace course.
- Within a module, click Existing Activities > External Learning Tools.
- Click Course Materials or BN First Day (it may be named either one, depending on the school).
- Click on the created content topic to launch into the Barnes & Noble platform.
