ELI Mindset

Overview

The ELI Mindset integration relies upon an External Learning Tool (LTI) link to facilitate single-sign on (SSO) into the ELI Mindset platform.  

ELI Mindset allows for an instructor to create the External Learning Tool (LTI) links to automatically sign in to ELI Mindset to view the video. 

Instructions for Use

Insert a Link

ELI Mindset will provide a course import package.  After importing the package you may need to create the External Learning Tool (LTI) links manually.

For each link needed, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
  2. Within a content module, click Existing Activities > External Learning Tools.
  3. Click Create New LTI Link.
  4. Paste the Title and URL values provided by ELI Mindset. For example:

  5. Click Create and Insert.
  6. Once the link is created, navigate to Course Admin > External Learning Tools.
  7. Click on the LTI link you just created:

  8. Scroll down the page, and click Add custom parameters.

  9. Fill in the custom parameter provided by ELI Mindset.  For example:
    The name and value fields when adding a custom parameter
  10. Click Save and Close.

Now that you have set up one External Learning Tool (LTI) link, you will need to repeat this process for each link provided by ELI Mindset.
