SAGE Publishing Vantage

Overview

SAGE Publishing Vantage allows an instructor to create External Learning Tool (LTI) links for your Vantage resources.  These LTI links provide students direct access to the SAGE Publishing Vantage platform activities.

Instructions for Use

Insert a Link

  1. Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
  2. Click Existing Activities > SAGE Vantage.
  3. If this is the first time launching the integration, you will be prompted to select a course.
  4. Perform a search for materials, and select the Link to Course checkbox and the Grade Sync checkbox (if desired).
  5. Click Continue.

  6. Confirm your selections. The selected links will now be added to your Brightspace course.

Grade Synchronization

To send grade scores from the vendor integration back to the D2L Brightspace gradebook, the Grade Sync checkbox is required in the steps above.  When a student attempts the activity in SAGE Vantage and receives a score, it will be immediately sent to the Brightspace grade book.
