CodeGrade

Overview

CodeGrade allows an instructor to link to a CodeGrade assignment from their Brightspace course, in order to enable single-sign on and grade transfer.  The instructor creates the assignment through a deep-linking workflow within the Brightspace content tool.

Instructions for Use

Insert a Link

  1. Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
  2. Within a module, click Existing Activities CodeGrade.
  3. Enter the details of the assignment. 
  4. Click Create Assignment.

Grade Synchronization

If the assignment will be graded and the score should be returned to the Brightspace grade book, a grade item must be attached to the CodeGrade LTI content topic. 

  1. Launch the content topic created above.
  2. Within Brightspace (CodeGrade may open in a new window or tab), locate the Assessment section under Activity Details.
  3. Click Add a grade item.

  4. Complete the steps to choose an existing grade item, or create a new grade item.
