OpenStax Assignable

Overview

OpenStax Assignable allows for an instructor to create deep links directly to OpenStax resources and activities.  Students would then be able to launch into those links through single-sign on (SSO).

Instructions for Use

Insert a Link

  1. Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
  2. Within a module, click Existing Activities > OpenStax Assignable.
  3. If this is the first launch, you’ll be prompted to Link your OpenStax account.
  4. Follow the instructions to select an activity or resource.

  5. Click Review assignment.
  6. Click Create.

  7. Click on the newly created content topic.

Grade Synchronization

Grade scores will be sent back from the vendor platform automatically to the Brightspace grade book.
