Overview
Pressbooks allows for an instructor to securely display content published with Pressbooks inside of your Brightspace course. Pressbooks is accessed through a deep-link workflow, where the instructor launches Pressbooks to insert a direct link to specific Pressbooks materials. Grading ability is not included in the current license.
Instructions for Use
Insert a Link
- Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
- Within a module, click Existing Activities > Pressbooks.
- Check the boxes next to the content you would like to add.
- Click the “Select Content” button at the bottom of the list.

Problems with the platform or its integration should be directed to your campus Pressbooks Administrator. (Check with your library if you are uncertain who this is.)
