Effective August 21, 2025 within D2L Brightspace, new and updated features are available to Instructors as part of the monthly update.

Groups
Group enrollment limit is now up to 3,000 students
In the Groups tool, it now allows enrollment of up to 3,000 students per group within a group category. Previously, the limit was 200 students per group. This increased limit applies to all group enrollment workflows, including (a) automatic enrollment during group creation, and (b) manual enrollment using the Enroll Users and Import options within the Groups tool.

Quizzes
Print your quiz for paper-based and in-person assessment needs
In the Quizzes tool, instructors now have a simple way to print a quiz for students to complete offline. Instructors can generate up to 10 versions of a quiz from the Print Quiz page. Learn more about printing a quiz for offline assessment needs.
