Access the Email tool in D2L Brightspace
How can I access the Email tool in my course? I don't have an Email tool in the course navigation bar.
The Email tool is available from the minibar Message Alerts icon.
From within a course, Access Email from the Message Alerts icon
- Navigate to a course in D2L Brightspace.
- Select the Message Alerts icon in the top navigation minibar, and then select Email.
Personal email settings within D2L Brightspace
How can I access my personal email settings in my D2L Brightspace course?
To access your email settings (including your signature) from the Email tool, please navigate to Sent Mail and then select the Settings link.
Navigate to Email Settings from the Sent Mail page
- Navigate to a D2L Brightspace course.
- Select the Message Alerts icon in the top navigation minibar, and select Email.
- On the ‘Compose New Message’ screen, select Sent Mail.
- From the Sent Mail screen, select the Settings link on this page.
- In the Email Signature field, make changes to your email signature.
- When ready to save the changes, select Save.
