Quizzes
Your instructor may ask you to complete quizzes, tests, and exams within an online course. For instance, you may be asked to make a practice quiz from the Quizzes tool. If no quizzes are listed in the Quizzes tool, contact your instructor for guidance.

Take and complete an attempt at a quiz
- Navigate to the Quizzes tool.
- Select the quiz name to navigate to the page details.
- Review the quiz time limit and instructions.
- When you are ready to start the quiz, select the Start Quiz button.
- For each question, select or enter your answer.
- Optionally, you may bookmark a question by selecting the Add Bookmark icon. To remove the bookmark, select the Remove Bookmark icon. Note that the bookmarks do not display after completing the quiz and won’t display to your instructor when they view your submitted quiz.
- Optionally, you may apply strikethrough formatting to an answer option by selecting the Add Strikethrough icon. To remove formatting, select the Remove Strikethrough icon. Note that the strikethrough formatting does not display after completing the quiz and won’t display to your instructor when they view your submitted quiz.
- If applicable to the quiz, navigate to the next page of questions using the Next Page or Previous Page buttons.
- To submit your quiz attempt, select the Submit Quiz button.
- A quiz confirmation page displays.
Note (if applicable) the confirmation page may display a list of unanswered questions. To respond to the unanswered question, select the first question's link to return to the question.
- Then, select the Submit Quiz button to submit your attempt to your instructor.
- Once submitted, the quiz submission results may display on the page. Select Done to exit the page. Learn about reviewing your quiz results and feedback.
