Honorlock

Overview

The Honorlock integration makes use of a school-wide External Learning Tool (LTI) link shared to all courses. 

Honorlock allows for an instructor to click on the Honorlock link to set up quiz proctoring. When taking a quiz with Honorlock enabled, students will require a browser extension to attempt the quiz.

Instructions for Use

The link to Honorlock can be found in one of two places depending on your school’s configuration: a navbar link or as an External Learning Tool link.

Navbar Link

Within your Brightspace course, click Honorlock link, such as from a drop-down menu. 

Add a Link

  1. Navigate to the Brightspace Content tool.
  2. Click Existing Activities > External Learning Tools.
  3. Click Honorlock.
  4. Hide the Honorlock content topic from learners: click the context menu > Hide from Users.

Configure the Quiz Settings

  1. Click on the Honorlock navbar link or content topic, as noted above.
  2. You may be prompted to authorize Honorlock.  Click Continue to allow Honorlock access to your Brightspace account.

  3. A list of quizzes within your Brightspace course will be displayed.  Click Enable next to the quiz where Honorlock will be used.

  4. Configure the settings for the quiz. Then, click Enable.
