How do I take an attempt at a quiz in D2L Brightspace?

Your instructor may ask you to complete quizzes, tests, and exams within an online course.  For instance, you may be asked to make a practice quiz from the Quizzes tool. If no quizzes are listed in the Quizzes tool, refer to your instructor for guidance.

Take and complete an attempt at a quiz

  1. Navigate to the Quizzes tool from the course navbar menu (such as from ‘).
  2. In the Quizzes tool, click on the quiz name to view it.

  3. When you are ready to start the quiz, click Start Quiz.

  4. Respond to questions in the quiz attempt. Learn more about responding to various question types and how the responses are automatically saved (https://mediaspace.minnstate.edu/media/1_trbspnnb) in this 5 minute video. 
  5. If applicable to the quiz, navigate between the quiz pages using the Next Page or Previous Page buttons.
  6. To submit the quiz, click the Submit Quiz button on a quiz page.

  7. Note that a confirmation page may display with information about any unanswered questions. To respond to the unanswered question, click the link to return to the question. Then, click Submit Quiz to submit your attempt.
