Kaltura MediaSpace: Sharing Kaltura Media with anyone

Setting a Video as Unlisted in MediaSpace

  1. Log in to MediaSpace.
  2. From the user menu, select My Media.
  3. From the media's menu, select Publish status. 
  4. Select the Unlisted option. Anyone with the link can view the content - no authentication required.
    From the media's menu, the publish status options are: private, unlisted, and publish
  5. In the confirmation window, select Save. 
    In the Set media as unlisted confirmation window, you have the option to select Save to confirm, or select Cancel to cancel the process.

Copy a share link to the unlisted media

  1. From My Media, select the media title to navigate to the media page.
  2. Select the Share option.
  3. Copy the Link to media page for distribution by highlighting the URL or using the Copy button.

  4. Paste the link where you want to share it to make it available to others. (Reminder: Anyone with the link can view the content - no authentication required.)

Note that you also have the option to share your media (such as to share it with your classmates and instructor, or share it with your students) by embedding it using the rich-text editor available in your D2L Brightspace course.
