October 2026 D2L Brightspace Release

View specific time for upcoming and overdue activities and materials in the Work To Do widget
With the October 2026 release, the Work To Do widget now displays the specific time an activity or material is due or ends when a student hovers their cursor over or long-presses on an activity date. This update gives a student the precise time for the activity or material deadline from the Work To Do widget.
Previously, the Work To Do widget displayed only the date an activity or material was due or ended after the student selected the activity or material link to review its details.
