Service Description
Softdocs is Minnesota State’s enterprise content management platform for managing electronic documents, eForms, approvals and workflows.
Minnesota State began implementing Softdocs in fall 2026 as the successor to Perceptive Content, formerly known as ImageNow. Both systems will operate during the phased transition.
Minnesota State University, Mankato serves as the enterprise service owner, providing systemwide leadership, platform administration and support. Each institution’s campus administrators lead local implementation and ongoing management.
