Infobase (Films on Demand)

Overview

The Infobase platform integrations allows for an instructor to search for Films on Demand videos and insert the video into the Brightspace HTML Editor, or as a content topic.  If your institution has licensed other Infobase products, these are included in the integration as well.  Other products may include:

  • Bloom's Literature
  • Classroom Video On Demand
  • Credo Reference
  • Credo Source
  • Films On Demand
  • History Center
  • Health Reference Center
  • Issues & Controversies
  • Polling the Nations
  • Science Center

Instructions for Use

Embed a video

  1. Within an HTML editor, select the Insert Stuff button.

  2. Select Films on Demand (Infobase) in the pop-up window.
  3. Follow the prompts to search for and embed a video.
  4. A preview will display.  Select Insert to embed the video.

Video as a Content Topic

  1. Within the Content tool of your Brightspace course, select Add Existing.
  2. Select More
  3. Select Films on Demand (Infobase) in the pop-up window.
  4. Follow the prompts to search for and embed a video.
