Overview
Due to sign-in changes to MediaSpace, you may encounter issues with Kaltura Capture ā such as media failing to upload or not appearing in your MediaSpace account. You may also see error messages in the Kaltura Capture app as well.
How to Resolve the Issue
To fix these issues, please sign out of the Kaltura Capture desktop application and relaunch it from the MediaSpace website to sign in with your updated username format.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open Kaltura Capture on your device.
- Select Manage (under the Kaltura logo).
- On the left-hand side, select the Information icon (a circle with an āiā).
- Select Sign Out.
- Confirm by selecting Yes, Sign Out.

Once signed out:
- Log in to MediaSpace.
- Select Create and select Capture to relaunch the app and sign in with your new account.
Important Note About Previous Recordings
Media recorded in the Kaltura Capture desktop application before signing in with your new account may not be available in your new MediaSpace account. If you need access to those recordings, please submit a service request and ask to have them transferred to your new account.
